Malaysia Removes Over 11,600 Deepfake Items as AI Abuse Complaints Surge Eightfold
Malaysia's communications watchdog has removed more than 11,600 pieces of deepfake content following nearly 12,500 complaints about artificial intelligence misuse since 2024, with complaints rising eightfold annually.
