Malaysia's Yasmeen Muhamad Shariff Elected to UN Committee on Children's Rights
Malaysia's Datuk Yasmeen Muhamad Shariff has been elected to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child for the 2027–2031 term, winning 136 votes at the UN Headquarters in New York. This marks her second appointment to the committee.
