Thailand enforces alcohol ban during Bangkok and Pattaya local elections
Thailand has imposed a strict nationwide alcohol prohibition in Bangkok and Pattaya from June 27-28 during local elections for governor, mayor and council positions. Violators face up to six months imprisonment or 10,000 baht fines.
